LEARN ABOUT MY LATEST PROJECT...
ABOUT VICTORIA

One of my favourite things to do is sing and it's important to my well being that I keep it up, and so here we are!

I grew up in Toronto, and now get to spend my winters in San Francisco. I love collaborating musically in a duo format. In Toronto (June-November) I sing fun pop/rock hits with guitarist Steve David, and in San Francisco (November-May) I sing sweet jazz standards with guitarist Jack Tone-Riordan.

I've been lucky enough to get to sing in some really cool places, at a smoky club after cycling through a downpour in Amsterdam, in Tokyo as a featured performer at a shisha lounge in Shimokitazawa, on the streets of London, at a jazz club in New York's Greenwich Village (and other spots from Harlem to Times Square), at weddings in Toronto and Italy, at Yoshi's in Oakland with a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, at the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley, to a packed 600-person nightclub in smalltown Ontario singing & dancing to top 40 hits, with choirs at Toronto's Massey Hall, Roy Thompson Hall, Convocation Hall, and the Toronto Centre for the Arts.

Sometimes the best concerts I play are surprises, even to me. I've walked into a room at a party and someone asks "do you have any talents?" and soon an entire room is singing along and shouting out requests. Sometimes the best concerts I play are at people's houses, where they invite a bunch of people over just to have some fun and hear me sing. I've also been really lucky to collaborate with a bunch of fantastic musicians. Some of the best! They do such a great job of making me sound good ;)

When I'm not playing music, it's because I'm bike riding, traveling, pursuing adventures & new experiences, helping people with their projects, and actively creating and producing new things. I started a little series of podcast-style webisodes interviewing my dad about his career in the music biz, which I called Dobbs at the Knobs. I keep a log of my adventures on my Facebook page (if you send me a friend request, send me a message too so I know who you are).
