Wish You Were in Hawaii With Me

Yesterday I started working on an adaptation/medley of Wish You Were Here. I don't really understand how to make a medley but I reckon I'll figure it out as I go along. This was the first take because I can't be bothered to do multiple takes and perfect a performance when I don't even have the songs memorized yet and when my gear is restricted to a built-in mic on a cell phone. And also it was dusk in the jungle and the mosquitos were getting feisty and I wanted to go back indoors. And my strings keep slipping flat - maybe that's a symptom of mega humidity. It's so humid here a salt grinder doesn't work because all the salt just clumps to itself and sticks to the inside of the grinder and doesn't fall down. I'm on Maui in Hawaii! I'll slowly work my way through the rest of the songs and post an update along the way. -V.
